The Order of Saint John is a royal order of chivalry constituted in 1888 by royal charter from Queen Victoria. The Order of St John is probably best known by its most famous service organisation, St John Ambulance. This hard enamel medal ribbon features the badge of the order of St. John in its centre. This uniform sized medal can be worn in place of the traditional medal ribbon where permitted.
